Wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen. Das Anwesen ist sehr schA¶n und groAYzA?gig gestaltet. Der Grillplatz ist wunderschA¶n angelegt mit Blick aufs Meer. Der FuAYweg zum Meer A?ber circa 100 Stufen ist etwas beschwerlich, aber man wird dafA?r wirklich belohnt!! Das Meer ist traumhaft schA¶n, es gibt sogar Liegen und SitzplA¤tze nur fA?r die GA¤ste der Villa!! Die Besitzerin der Villa ist eine A¤uAYerst nette Frau! We were able to recover very well. The property is very nice and spacious. The barbecue area is beautifully landscaped overlooking the sea. The walk to the sea over about 100 steps is a bit difficult, but you are really rewarded !! The sea is gorgeous, there are even beach chairs and seats only for the guests of the villa !! The owner of the villa is a very nice woman!

We had a lovely time and the villa was as described. We enjoyed the garden and having lots of different areas to eat. The pool was lovely and clean and it was nice to have the charcoal there for the BBQ. We had a 5 and a 7 year old and they really enjoyed it.

We really enjoyed our week in Villa Apollo (called Apollon by the owners). Although the little cove is a 5 minute walk downhill to the sea (and probably a bit more up again) it is well worth the effort and we went down twice daily for a private swim and a relax on the loungers thoughtfully provided by the owners. They even provided a couple of lilos which were stored at the cove for the use of Villas Apollon and Luisa. The house inside is well equipped and comfortable. It does not have mosquito netting over the windows so take repellent if you like to keep windows open at night rather than use the air conditioning. Also you should be aware that the two twin rooms are up a narrow spiral staircase not really suitable for the very old very young or anyone with mobility problems. The swimming pool is fairly small but perfect for splashing around in and cooling off and there is also an outside shower. Unlike a lot of villas the garden is a delight. It has a wonderfully shady scenic dining area at the bottom of the garden as well as a more accessible dining area close to the house shaded by wisteria with a couple of small landscaped areas separating them. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into it. The local taverna Stefanos place was great. Lovely food not expensive (not cheap either - nowhere in Corfu is unless you go to Ipsos/Kassiopi) great view and friendly people. Easy to get to it is a two minute walk along the road.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week in Corfu, Barbati was a wonderful area to stay incredible views and a wonderful Villa would love to rent this Villa again during the busier part of the season as mid October seems to be closing down for restaurants jet ski and boat hire. However this did not spoil a relaxing week with family. Thank you for sharing your delightful Villa.
