A lovely villa with so much space! Clean, comfortable, lots to do and attention and care has been put into it. The hosts were simply amazing. We had so much food when we arrived, which we didna€™t expect! Bread, cheese, ham, milk, beer, wine, loads of goodies. Everything had been thought about! They even brought us a little gift the night before we left. Absolutely gorgeous in every way. My personal highlights were the outdoor kitchen and pool and also the goats that walk in the field below and come over to say hello if you share a little sliced apple with them! Fabulous holiday, superb villa, even more amazing hosts and was blown away by how friendly people in Crete are, and the quality of food at every restaurant and cafe.

Villa Sonata is amazing. We spent a week at the villa in May 2024. The hosts greeted us upon arrival. The Villa is the most well stocked villa ever, the welcome pack was enough to last us more than a few days! There are shower towels, beach towels and hand towels provided for all guests. The villa was cleaned and towels/ bedding changed mid stay, which was a lovely treat. The hosts were so attentive and kind, nothing at all was a trouble for them. The villa was spotlessly clean, the beds and sofas were so comfortable. The villa has so much outdoor seating you are spoiled for choice for little nooks and places to sit and relax. A car is essential at Villa Sonata, but the beautiful old town of Rethymo is only a fifteen minute drive away. There is a lush bakery in the next village, a lidl ten minutes away and a gorgeous beach in plakias (recommended by the Villa owners) a 30 minute drive away. We loved our stay here and will definitely come back. Thank you so much for a relaxing lovely week in Villa Sonata.

Its a beautiful villa, with plenty of room and a well-designed layout. The swimming pool was so good.The views are fantastic, the Villa is very well-equipped and our vacation was amazing. The beaches are phenomenal, even. We had a great time here, and we will definitely be back!! xx

We enjoyed our time by the pool and the amazing panoramic views. Really good restaurants and bars are only a few minutes drive away. The location was great for exploring Crete a bit and we will definitely be back to get to all the other parts we missed.

The kitchen has all the utensils that you could need. The outside area is so stunning and peaceful. This was our first time in Crete, and I strongly recommend it. We will be back next year again!!
