The villa is set on 3 levels. The main access is at pool level where a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, twin bedroom and bathroom with shower are located.
Stairs lead up to the upper floor that comprises an impressive master suite with en suite and balcony. There is also a double bedroom with en suite and a further twin bedded room with en suite and terrace.
The ground floor, accessed via an internal staircase and opening straight to the gardens has the 5th bedroom (twin) with en suite bathroom. Beautiful gardens, with mature trees and flowers, surround the villa providing a private and relaxing atmosphere.

The location and the villa are perfect for a quiet relaxed holiday. Enough far from the crowd places but still near to places, we wanted to visit. As we went out and explored the island and beaches almost every day, the location was perfect as it put us in close proximity to everything: beach, restaurants, tavernas, bars... all reachable within a 3-5 min drive. I think that the pictures accurately reflect the property....it deserves a 5*****. There is also a beautiful beach (Platanes Beach) within a few minutes drive where we enjoyed an early morning stroll. We found the people of Agia Triada and Rethymno very friendly and the local food tasty. We also liked their local wines, you have to try them while you are there. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...)

It was a beautiful spacious well-equipped villa in a peaceful hillside location approx 15 mins drive from the center of Rethymno where there was plenty of life if you want it. The kids loved the occasional dip to the pool. Villa Asimenia is very spacious and we were grateful for the comfort of the sitting room in the villa as the weather was unseasonably chilly at night. We do rent a hire car as we wanted to visit also other places in Crete. There is no better way to enjoy an evening meal than on the veranda of Villa Asimenia enjoying the incredible sunsets. We hope to return soon!

We had a good holiday, beautiful villa. 3 days the weather was cloudly and much wind. The distance to the Lidl, the beach and the taverne's was too far to walk, so we must need the car every time.
