The Costa Del Sol coastline of southern Spain extends 150 km across the province of Malaga. The coastlines offer diversity, from Spanish fishing villages to large touristy beachfront towns. The beaches along the coastline also range from livelier sandy beaches to more secluded untouched beaches that offer more solidarity. These beaches are located not far from the villas. Although it is Malaga, the name Costa Del Sol was created to market the coastline to foreign tourists that came about in the 1950s. Mijas's located on the South-Eastern coast of Malaga and has several municipalities, Mijas Pueblo which is the hillside village, and the core of Mijas. Then you have Mijas Costa, which is mostly a commercial and residential area, as well as being popular with tourists. And you have La Cala de Mijas which is a different village that is located on the coastline in the west.
Nerja has a vast amount of unexplored cave systems, and is rumoured to be one of the largest in Europe. There are several places of interest in Nerja besides the caves, these include the Balcon of Europa, a 19th-century Aqueduct, the Baroque Hermitage of Las Angustias, the Church of El Salvador built in the 17th Century and the Chillar River.
Torrox is located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and at the foothills of the Sierra de Almijara.
